Should we have a Timeline of array languages? Adám Brudzewsky (talk) 08:47, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
- It's probably not useful to have one giant timeline of everything, but definitely the languages not in Timeline of influential array languages should should get into timelines somehow. Maybe a Timeline of array languages that only has non-APL dialects (I can't think of a better name)? It would also be interesting to see a timeline of array libraries such as NumPy, but it's difficult to locate these libraries or know if anyone uses a particular one. Another option is to move everything to Timeline of array languages but divide it into sections like List of open-source array languages.
- Right, I meant to exclude APL dialect that are on the existing timeline. But yes, I think a single page with sections like on the open-source list would be the best option. I suspect that someone looking at one timeline will want to see the other too, so having them on a single page would be a service. Adám Brudzewsky (talk) 23:55, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
