MBaas: Locher beschreibt die Funktion als Verb "Existenz prüfen". Üblicher Sprachgebrauch scheint mit "Element" zu sein - aber eine griffige Substantivform für geschriebene Texte fällt mir nicht so leicht ein. "Mitgliedschaft"? "Existenprüfung"? "Elementbeziehung"?

== ⍴ as Form/Umform rather than Struktur/Stukturiere ==
Struktur/Stukturiere sounds more like the structure that includes nestedness, whereas Form/Umform gives me more a feeling of the outer shape, ignoring inner structure. <syntaxhighlight lang=apl inline>(∊complicatedArray)←simpleVectorData</syntaxhighlight> sounds like Stukturieren to me.
Compare an Ausstechform (a cookie cutter) is something that dictates the outer shape, not concerning itself with the composition of the dough (the array content).
