Page name
I'm confused about the disambiguation (operator) here. What else is called "Each"? --Marshall (talk) 11:54, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- Nothing. I'm wondering why we chose to name the pages "Each operator" and "Reverse Compose operator". Wouldn't just "Each" and "Reverse Compose" do‽ Maybe it was in anticipation of "Power"… For that case, I suggest "Power (function)" and "Power (operator)" with a redirect from "Power" to the former, and both having a note similar to the one seen on Index. Agree? Adám Brudzewsky (talk) 12:22, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- That all sounds right, and most consistent with Wikipedia, to me. I'll move this page to "Each". The other common primitives in need of disambiguation are Rank (operator) and Cut (K). I suppose the J form of the latter will just be called Cut, since APLers don't generally talk/know about the K one. Not that the J version is much less obscure, but J is more of an APL than K is. --Marshall (talk) 12:35, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
