Reducing scope to Dyalog only

At present, this page apparently discusses any dialect that has an ordering on arrays of differing shapes. However, such implementations may or may not want to compare all types, leading to the contradiction of declaring that TAO means comparing all types and then listing how various dialects don't do that. This sets up an ideal of providing a total order that language designers didn't agree to, given that most don't use the term "total" in their documentation. I will move the discussion of various languages to Array ordering and disentangle the concerns about shape and type by placing these in different sections (some of the type discussion belongs in Comparison function but I might not bother to make a section there). This page will briefly discuss the particular extensions made in Dyalog 17.0. --Marshall (talk) 12:07, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
